Regenerative Agriculture Panel
For the past several years, more organizations have been choosing the term regenerative to describe their desired farming system for a nature-positive future. Does this linguistic transition reflect a substantive difference from “sustainable” or “climate-smart” agriculture? In this session, panelists representing different links in the commodity crop supply chain will share their perspectives and how Field to Market provides a common framework to credibly measure and support progress toward regenerative agriculture goals.

There are two pathways to reduce the environmental footprint of animal food - attention to crops produced for feed and focusing on ration development. In the last year, regenerative agriculture, circularity, innovation, and responsible sourcing have been proposed as the four solution areas for the basis of sustainable feed. This session will explore the opportunities both pathways present within the context of identified solutions and open the door to the role of Field to Market as an important collaborator in the discussion.
